The wheel of samsara keeps us trapped in rebirth until we finally become enlightened.
In this painting, I use birds which symbolically represent freedom, and I place them in a circular flight, all are heading in the same direction together. I use gold leaf to represent the spikes of the wheel which has come apart, ..the birds have all broken free.
It is my wish that we all become enlightened.
